Leadership

Inspired by the work of City of Sanctuary UK, members of the Sandwell Community came together to push Sandwell to become a Borough of Sanctuary. The first meeting was held in 2020 and network meetings are held every other month.

We are primarily volunteer led, with some operational and staffing support from Bearwood Community Hub and Brushstrokes Community Project. 

There is a Core Organising Group (COG) that consists of a Chair, Secretary, and other committed volunteers. The COG meets every other month to focus on objectives, work plans, and tasks.
